Project 2. Church Hall Kitchen

Our Church Hall is a popular space in Longlevens, and is used by many different community groups as well as by

families for celebrations; from drop in session for pre-school children to tea and chat for the elderly.

The hall kitchen is not well designed and the equipment is either very worn or broken. Our intention is to install a

new kitchen that is designed for durability, safety and efficiency.

There is a grassy area between the hall and the church, which we plan to enclose so that activities can be held safely

outside and we could develop it as a multi-sensory area that could be accessed directly from the church or church hall.

Project 1. The Sound System

We plan to install an audio visual system in the church, so that we can be more flexible as we cater for different

learning styles and for the needs of the local schools.

The Junior School, Infants School and Milestones School are regular users of the church for Christmas, Easter and

Harvest celebrations. Audio visual capability is also increasingly requested by people we support for special

services, including funerals.

We Need Your Help!

We have 2 projects and achieving these projects will take a lot of hard

work, but the local community will reap the benefits in the long run.

As new fund raising activities are proposed and rolled out, please take part

- bring your family and friends and encourage others to join in too.

If there are any other ideas you have or lend your skills to,

please get in touch either:

email: fundraisingproject@holytrinitylonglevens.org.uk

or drop your ideas into the letter box at

the Trinity Hub/Church Hall.

We are always grateful for new ideas and especially volunteer helpers!
